The street basketball legend Professor has just uploaded a second video about the healing process after a terrible injury on the field.
After the Professor uploaded his first clip of an injury at the Miami club, many fans expected it to be a minor injury. However, according to the second video posted by the crossover king, the hopes of those who love him have been blown away.
The video started with the 36-year-old streetball legend sharing his feeling after the ball: “I made a breakthrough movement and it felt like my feet were sliding on the ground. It was as if someone kicked. into the leg below the knee. I couldn’t stand up myself and my right leg was swollen horribly”.
The real YouTube star, Grayson Boucher, went for an MRI scan and the doctor gave him the worst result: tearing all the Achilles heel. On the X-ray, the doctor from Glendale Surgery Center showed a tear up to 2.5cm in size. This is the same injury as Kevin Durant, who gave up the 2019/20 season completely for recovery.
“For high-impact sports like basketball or rugby, this is a terrible injury,” said Dr Mark, Professor of Injury Treatment for Professor. “It will take a lot of time to recover and greatly affect situations where booming is needed.”
“You cannot recover completely from such injuries. Look at the NBA players with Achilles heel tendon, they cannot return to their peak. Dominique Wilkins has to jump more, Kobe Bryant has to. backstage. Such injury changes an entire athlete’s career”.
Grayson Boucher was very sad after hearing about the injury: “The news made me desperate. Professional athletes are almost unable to fully recover after this injury. I wonder if I can play football again. again or not. It’s hard to say if I can play high intensity football and break my opponent’s ankle like before. “
The Professor is then forced to go to the operating table to treat the injury and is extremely worried. He only took a nap for about 30 minutes – 1 hour before going to the surgery center at 6 am the next morning. Fortunately, the surgery was successful and Boucher was able to return home shortly after.
Professor’s eyes will be a recovery process that can take up to a year. The streetball legend reached out to many former players who suffered similar injuries and received advice on patience. He said he would try not to return to the football field as soon as the mistakes of many others.
In the nearly 10-minute video, despite not hiding the disappointment, Professor still showed optimism, even jokingly said, “Can I cut my toenails too?”. It is this optimism that makes the viewers love the 36-year-old more.
Grayson Boucher used to be a basketball player in high school but his body was so small that he could not make it to the professional arena. Everything changed when Boucher was accidentally discovered during a tour of AND1 Mixtape in Portland.
